Hello, I’m Nicolette and I am an introvert in network marketing and direct sales.   Follow me through the trials and tribulations as well as shared tips, thoughts and articles. I have worked in various forms of marketing for 20+ years (mortgage industry, real estate, etc.) and have an MBA in Management.

Past adventures include: Avon, Mary Kay, Mobile Notary, Field Inspections, Excel, Flashnet, In-Home Mortgage Closings, ACN, Amway, La Bella Baskets and more. Remember this is over a 20+ year span.

My past, present and future include: single parent at a young age, marrying, having another child, divorce and successfully raising my two children alone (yes, it can be done). During that time I consistently worked two if not three jobs outside of the home until I learned that earning a home based income was possible.

As many of you have probably experienced; I often heard from friends and family that I was wasting my time. During this time there was no one (that I could find) to mentor or guide me which necessitated becoming my own teacher. My two children were voluntarily active participants in some of my work at home jobs. They participated by earning 10% of all paid invoices and occasionally had to stick there heads of the sunroof or window of my car when performing drive by field inspections – they would take pictures of the property.

This blog was created with the hope that others who may have similar backgrounds can know that they are not alone. Some of the “adventures” listed were a complete success and helped me to give up my part time job at Walgreen’s as a pharmacy technician (that was before you had to be certified). Some of the “adventures” listed, were failures that have strengthened me.  Through the successes and failures there is a common thread – attainment of knowledge.

Am I rich or making a six figure income from Network Marketing or Direct Sales…..no, not yet (keeping hope alive). You probably didn’t expect me to say that, but I believe in being honest.  Whether network marketing or direct sales are for you, only “you” can decide but choose two companies that fit your personality and goals. Yes, I said two companies – always go for multiple streams of income because nothing is permanent.

The purpose of this blog is share information, tips and encouragement for introverts who have made the decision to delve into Network Marketing. To clarify a few things: Trevortni is the reverse of introvert; Network Marketing includes affiliate marketing, direct sales, multi-level marketing, etc.
